Do you want to use the Automatic Payment service to pay your EDF bill?

It's easy, safe and secure! The Automatic Payment service provides a simple way to pay your energy bill. No need to worry about forgetting your due date: your payments are automatically debited from your bank account.

With Automatic Payment, you are always on time!

Automatic Payment gives you more:


  • You never have to worry about missing a due date again! Your payment is automatically debited from your bank account 14 days after you receive your bill.
  • Signing up for the Automatic Payment is easy! It only takes a few clicks in My Account !


You can contact your EDF customer service representative at 09 69 32 15 15 (cost of a local call), from Monday through Saturday between 8 am and 9 pm, in order to:
  • Select your payment date from a list of choices.
  • Cancel the Automatic Payment service.
  • You choose the type of bank account for your payment: standard bank account or saving account (Livret A or Livret Développement Durable).
  • You can change your bank information at any time using My Account.


No need to purchase postage or envelopes to mail your payment.

Please note:

Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a European directive that provides improved security for wire transfers and direct debit payments made by individuals, administrations and businesses within the European Union.
In the framework of this directive, domestic bank transfer systems will be replaced by a single direct debit system for all of Europe, called SEPA Direct Debit (SDD), by February 2014.
When you sign up for Automatic Payment, a RUM number will appear on your monthly payment notice and annual energy bill. This number is used to identify your payments as outlined by the terms of the European SEPA standard.

SEPA will not change the way you pay your bill. No action is required on your part.
